About the event
All proceeds from this event will go directly to a coastal organisation affected, or fighting against, the Climate Crisis. If you know of one you would like us to support, please email zoe@manningtreearts.com.
Living where we do, on the Essex coast and beside the Stour, water is never far from our minds. This panel brings together coastal scientists, flood management experts and local voices to discuss rising sea levels, coastal erosion, flooding and the future of the waterways and coastlines that shape our region.
We'll look at what's changing, what communities like ours are already experiencing, and what adaptation, resilience and long-term planning can look like — both locally and nationally.
Expect a grounded, locally relevant conversation between people working directly with our changing coastline and waterways, with plenty of time for audience questions.
This is the third talk in our six-part Community Climate Action series, a year-long programme of panel…
