After a career in countryside management, Simon has used his retirement to share his love of nature and the environment. Through storytelling, writing plays, talks and leading guided walks he seeks to showcase the awe of nature. With an appreciation of what is all around us hopefully people will foster greater care and chose more sustainable behaviours that help the planet.

Simon’s stories tend to be new ones crafted to help people enjoy and understand our countryside and changing climate. That’s not to say wood sprites, talking raindrops and ghosts don’t make an appearance though. ‘Thoughtful’, ‘fun’, ‘inspiring’ are the words he hopes will spring to mind with his listeners.
