Yoshika Colwell is a songwriter & singer from the South East of England. Her writing is influenced by a deep love of classic songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake & John Martyn as well as many other contemporary & eclectic influences. 

Her songs tend to explore both the personal & the global, the day to day difficulties and the bigger existential questions. She has been enjoying gigging again post pandemic & recently supported the brilliant blues musician Roger Hubbard in Hastings. 

She is in the process of writing her debut solo EP. Her work with former band LUUNA enjoyed radio play across BBC Radio 1, 2 & 6 Music, as well as featuring as one of Tom Robinsons ‘Fresh Faves’ of 2017.
