About the event
A K Blakemore is an award-winning poet and novelist from London. Her first novel, The Manningtree Witches, won the Desmond Elliot Prize for Best First Novel and was shortlisted for a Costa Award. Her second novel, The Glutton, is forthcoming from Granta. Her work has been widely published, appearing in The London Review of Books, The White Review and The Guardian, among others.
Blakemore will be chatting about The Glutton, and about how she is navigating sucess after her brilliant debut novel, The Manningtree Witches.
